Daniel grew up on Long Island in Bellmore, NY and later went to school at the Rhode Island School of Design.
He resides in Montclair, New Jersey and plays hockey almost every week at Chelsea Piers, in New York.
He was even co-captain of RISD's hockey team, the Nads.
